ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Much of the Blue Ridge Parkway is still closed. Many of you have been emailing in to WDBJ7, wondering why that is. A spokesperson for the parkway says the recent winter storms we’ve had are to blame as they caused more damage than Hurricane Helene did in some of the Virginia areas on the parkway.
