Giants, Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo

The rookie running back burst onto the scene after Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. suffered an injury earlier in the season. The former Arizona State standout who helped the Sun Devils to the College Football Playoff offered immediate juice for a Giants offense lacking any real playmakers following the season-ending injury to Malik Nabers.
Skattebo sustained the injury after a second-quarter pass from quarterback Jaxson Dart. His right leg got pinned underneath him on the ensuing hit and twisted. His lower leg was awkwardly bent in the immediate aftermath of the play.
Cam Skattebo’s rookie season with the New York Giants has been memorable for all the right reasons, but his wallet might disagree. Earlier this week, the running back received a $15,000 fine from the NFL for conduct detrimental to the league after entering the team’s medical tent to check on quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Cam Skattebo owned up to his poor protection on Jaxson Dart’s killer fourth quarter interception in last Sunday’s 33-32 loss at Denver.
