HAMBURG, Germany -Borussia Dortmund conceded goals in the last four minutes to waste a 3-1 lead and settle for a 3-3 at St Pauli in their Bundesliga opener on Saturday. The hosts scored with an 86th minute Danel Sinani penalty before captain Eric Smith rifled in an equaliser three minutes later to snatch a surprise draw for the Hamburg club.

MÖNCHENGLADBACH, Germany — United States attacking midfielder Gio Reyna is switching Borussias. The 22-year-old Reyna joined Borussia Mönchengladbach from Bundesliga rival Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, signing a deal through June 2028 with his new club.
With the transfer window closing on 1 September, Dortmund have shifted into high gear. Defensive issues and over-reliance on striker Serhou Guirassy are driving their urgency.
