MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins will be without two of their top players from a season ago at mandatory minicamp this week, as cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith will not participate.

Seven-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey's future with Miami has been in limbo since April when Dolphins general manager Chris Grier revealed that it was in the best interest of all parties to part ways via a trade. On Tuesday, Miami head coach Mike McDaniel was mostly mum on whether or not there's been any progress on a Ramsey trade.
