Man arrested for arson by LAPD at site of major Californian fire
A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, near the Kenneth Fire currently spreading toward the Hidden Hills and Calabasas. Previously an officer told media that an individual had been arrested for intentionally starting the Kenneth Fire.
As blazes continue to devastate huge areas of Los Angeles county, a number of celebrities have questioned the source.
Los Angeles police said "a male was heard stating a suspect was trying 'to light a fire' near the Kenneth Fire". The allegation was later ruled unfounded.
