We're back for another year to draw pro comparisons for ESPN's projected lottery prospects in the 2025 NBA draft, which runs from June 25-26 (8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN). It's often a useful exercise, if done responsibly. Sometimes that's easier said than done, as it's a process that often invites hyperbole.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have plenty of options to turn to as they head into the 2025 NBA draft. Holding the No. 3 pick, the Sixers can turn to a number of different directions to help themselves bounce back from a miserable 2024-25 season that was marred by injuries.

The Wizards selected John Wall 1st overall in the 2010 NBA Draft. The NBA lottery was instituted for the 1985 Draft. The Washington Wizards have been a regular within the lottery since it was instituted.

Some fans clamored to see a court that matched the magnitude of the event – meaning they didn’t want to see a court that was no different than a regular-season game. It was pointed out that the league’s NBA Cup court has logos on it for the in-season tournament.

Though the league is big on flashy courts during the NBA Cup, the NBA Finals courts have been understated. That may change.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said that "it will be on the agenda to take the temperature of the room" on potential expansion.
