North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick pushed back against the idea he was unceremoniously dumped by the New England Patriots and team owner Robert Kraft. In an interview with Tony Dokoupil of CBS Mornings, Belichick called his exit as a "mutual decision," doubling down when Dokoupil pointed out that Kraft described it as a firing.

In the same interview with "CBS Sunday Morning," Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson stepped in to stop a question about their relationship.

The relationship between Bill Belichick and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft seems to have deteriorated quite a bit in recent years, and Belichick is barely trying to hide that at this point.
