NEW YORK (AP) — Jalen Brunson had 42 points and 10 assists, breaking a tie with Carmelo Anthony for third on the franchise list with his 18th 40-point game with the Knicks, and New York beat the Houston Rockets 124-118 on Monday night.

The Houston Rockets head to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks in a non-conference matchup. The Rockets are 32-16, which puts the team in second place in the Western Conference. The Knicks are 32-17, which puts the team in third place in the Eastern Conference.
