A fire under a PATH train in Jersey City sparked yet more commuter chaos early Monday with multiple lines suspended.

There were no immediate reports of major injuries. Thirteen people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, nine of whom were taken to a hospital for further evaluation, authorities said. The PATH trains conduct an average of about 165,000 passenger trips daily across the Hudson River from northern New Jersey into Manhattan.
