The U.S. Open concludes Sunday with the fourth and final round of the event at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. Sam Burns (4-under-par for the tournament) remains at the top of the U.S. Open leaderboard for a second straight day and will tee off Sunday afternoon.

The third round of the U.S. Open on June 14 at the Oakmont Country Club will begin at 9:12 a.m. when Philip Barbaree tees off as a single player, due to an odd number making the 7-over cut. The last twosome of leader Sam Burns (3-under) and J.J. Spaun (2-under) will tee off at 3:35 p.m.
There’s no such thing as a quick 18 holes at the U.S. Open, particularly when it’s at Oakmont. Players needed 5½ hours or more to get through each of the opening two rounds.
McIlroy, who ended his major drought by beating Englishman Rose in a play-off to complete the career Grand Slam at Augusta National in April, won his solitary US Open in 2011. Rose claimed his only major title at the 2013 US Open.
