Environmental Protection Agency officials might end the agency's prior "endangerment finding" for greenhouse gas emissions and repeal vehicle regulations.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin said Tuesday the agency is preparing to overturn its 2009 conclusion that greenhouse gas emissions are harmful to the environment and human life.

That assessment followed a 2007 U.S. Supreme Court decision in its landmark Massachusetts v. EPA case that said the EPA has the authority under the Clean Air Act to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and required the agency to make a scientific finding on whether those emissions endanger public health.
