Longtime former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is reportedly in line to interview with a second team.

After reportedly interviewing for the Chicago Bears' coaching vacancy, veteran coach Pete Carroll is said to have lined up a second interview with a different team. Carroll will interview for the Las Vegas Raiders' head coaching job next week,

Seahawks hopefuls may have been wishing for draft-pick compensation in exchange for Carroll, sort of how Sean Payton was traded from New Orleans to Denver two offseasons ago. That won’t happen. Carroll is free to coach elsewhere and the Seahawks wouldn’t benefit from him filling a head coaching vacancy.
