The reason people might think Earth has a second moon is due to a celestial body named 2025 PN7 that was spotted in August by Hawaii’s Pan-STARRS observatory. It isn’t abnormal for astronomers to discover these objects in space called “quasi-moons,” or “quasi-satellites.” In fact, seven have already been discovered.
