One adult died and three people were injured, including a child, in a shooting in North Philadelphia Saturday evening, police said. The Homicide Unit confirmed to CBS News Philadelphia that police received a report of a shooting on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue in Nicetown around 8:30 p.m.

The shooting left the officer wounded and experts telling Newsday it's an example of the risks law enforcement officers take every day on the street.
