NYG star Cam Skattebo, a day after suffering a gruesome ankle injury, will be released from the hospital on Monday, his father tells TMZ Sports.

Adding to the rookie running back's woes is a gruesome ankle injury that he suffered in Week 8. Skattebo underwent ankle surgery on Sunday, which presumably means his season is over. The 23-year-old running back totaled 617 yards from scrimmage and scored seven touchdowns in eight games this season.
