The Golden State Valkyries will be facing the Connecticut Sun on Sunday morning. In their first time meeting, Golden State came away with an 87-63 win against the Sun. Their game on Sunday at the Mohegan Sun Arena will be the first of five away games for the Valkyries.

Hayes led the way for Golden State with 17 points in the win, and Salaun added 16 in Thornton’s absence.
After being held to 30 points in the first half and falling behind by 12 early in the second half, the Valkyries scored 33 points in the third quarter.
