The West Suburban 12U softball team is one step closer to winning the Little League Softball World Series. The Mid-Atlantic champion advanced to the quarterfinals with a 9-0 win over the West region champion.

Overall, the 12 teams will compete in a modified double-elimination format until the championship games, which are single elimination. The games will be shown on ESPN+, ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC.

The field is thinning in this year's Little League Softball World Series, with several teams eliminated and others playing for the right to continue their pursuit of the 2025 title.
