It took exactly one pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays to take a 1-0 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the World Series, thanks to leadoff hitter Davis Schneider depositing a Blake Snell offering into the left field seats for a home run.

Trey Yesavage pulled off a feat that just three other pitchers in the history of the World Series have managed before, two of them Hall of Famers.

Since both Canada and the United States are represented in the World Series, both national anthems are performed before first pitch. For the "Star-Spangled Banner," American actress and singer Sofia Carson — also a UCLA graduate — will perform the U.S. national anthem. Canadian-American singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright will perform "O, Canada."
