The Dallas Cowboys saw one player they can't afford to lose leave with an injury during a third-quarter drive against the Washington Commanders.
The Cowboys beat the Comanders, 44-22, to improve to 3-3-1. Team owner Jerry Jones was in a talkative mood after the win, but he didn't reveal much about Diggs' concussion, although he said they have talked about it.
Diggs was ruled out of Sunday’s contest due to a concussion. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer revealed on Friday that the two-time Pro Bowler showed some concussion symptoms after an accident at his home. The details of the incident were not disclosed publicly.
The Cowboys were able to get back on track in a big way on Sunday following their loss at the buzzer to the Panthers in Week 6, demolishing the Commanders, 44-22. Dak Prescott looked as sharp as ever, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns as CeeDee Lamb helped contribute in a big way in his first game back from an ankle injury.
