The creator of Apple TV+’s new “Frog and Toad” series talks through bringing the children’s book characters to life—and not being afraid of the queer subtext so many fans cherish.

That includes the behind-the-scenes creative team. They had to select which Frog and Toad were the “Ultimate Frog and Toad,” since the characters' style changes over time in Lobel’s books.
