No Kings protest events are taking place across the country Saturday and thousands are expected to show their support in several events in downtown Houston. Follow along here for updates.

About 4,000 protesters gathered Saturday morning at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton for the second "No Kings Day" protest, one of three in San Joaquin County scheduled for the weekend.

"Every child deserves to go to school focused on their future, not on whether their family will be torn apart," she said.
