Ten college football teams have already set become bowl eligable this season, but with a total of 45 bowl games, many spots still remain.

Vanderbilt football reached bowl eligibility with a 31-24 win over LSU at FirstBank Stadium on Oct. 18. The Commodores (6-1, 2-1 SEC) will officially be playing in the postseason − not just the Birmingham Bowl, like last year, but potentially the College Football Playoff.

The SEC’s rivalries are set, at least for the next four years. The schedule will preserve key rivalries, but Alabama-LSU will not be kept annually.
