All eyes are on New Jersey and Virginia this week, where gubernatorial contests could show which party has the edge.

Three polls released Thursday show a range of potential outcomes in the New Jersey governor’s race.  While each survey suggests Democratic nominee Mikie Sherrill holds a lead over Republican nominee Jack Ciattarelli,

Democratic Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli are making their last pitch to voters before Election Day.

The mayor of Jersey City shared a poll from the data solutions company AtlasIntel, conducted between October 25 to 30, showing that Ciattarelli was forecast to get 49.3 percent of the vote in the race, while his Democratic opponent Mikie Sherrill could get 50.2 percent.

The Republican is in a heated race with Democrat Mikie Sherrill to take over for term-limited Gov. Phil Murphy.

The candidates criss-crossed their states over the weekend ahead of the first big races since Trump’s 2024 win.
