Nashville is the newest franchise in the "9-1-1" universe, and the writers have made an effort to feature many of the iconic spots around town. From Ascend Amphitheater to the Union Station Hotel, the heart-stopping rescues and emergencies showcase signature sites of the Nashville skyline.

The Nashville International Airport said that the Federal Aviation Administration advised them of reduced flights arriving and departing “due to a shortage of air traffic controllers.”

ABC's Thursday night lineup opens up with a bang, thanks to the long-running "9-1-1." It's followed by the premiere of the new "9-1-1: Nashville" and the season 22 return of "Grey's Anatomy."

“9-1-1: Nashville” has a release date set for Thursday, Oct. 9, when it will debut with a tornado-centric pilot. New “9-1-1: Nashville” episodes debut Thursdays on ABC from 9:01-10:01 p.m. ET/PT.
