Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has made his stance on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame crystal clear following the band's latest nomination, calling the institution "for wankers" in a blunt social media post.

Carey, Lauper, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Soundgarden and The White Stripes have been nominated before. Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Checker, Cocker, Maná, Idol, OutKast and Phish are on the ballot for the first time.
