Pius Suter scored the winning goal with 1:23 left as the St. Louis Blues edged the visiting Edmonton Oilers 3-2 Monday night to snap a seven-game winless streak.
The Oilers are 6-4-3 this season and are averaging 3.15 goals per game, with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl leading the offense. McDavid leads the team with 17 points, and Draisaitl has 9 goals. Their power play ranks first in the league at 33.3%.
There may be nothing left for the Edmonton Oilers to do but search for the smoothest possible ending to one of Connor McDavid’s teammate’s time with the team.
