Auburn held a 1-0 lead until the seventh inning when Coastal Carolina broke through for three runs. Sebastian Alexander hit a leadoff double and was moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by Blake Barthol. Walker Mitchell followed up with an RBI single to tie the score at 1-1.

Auburn baseball suffered a tough loss on Friday night/early Saturday morning to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, 7-6 in 10 innings, to fall behind 1-0 in the Auburn Super Regional. The Tigers trailed 6-1 in the 4th inning before chipping away in the 5th and 6th inning,

After falling to Coastal Carolina in extra innings 7-6 Friday night, Auburn baseball returns to Plainsman Park this afternoon for a chance to extend the super regionals one more game. A Tigers win will result in a winner take all game three on Sunday. If Coastal Carolina wins, it will be their first trip to the College World Series since 2016.
