A 21-year-old son of an NFL assistant coach has taken responsibility for prank-calling former University of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders during the NFL Draft late last week.

Every football player should remember that the NFL is like the government; they know everything that’s going on with current players and those drafted to play the sport they love. Shedeur Sanders is a polarizing athlete who kept many fans waiting with high expectations to hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The team said 21-year-old Jax Ulbrich “came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parent’s home.”
