Investigators say poor weather conditions were among the factors that led to the helicopter crash that killed five Marines in February 2024.

Federal officials on Wednesday released images of a doomed NYC sightseeing helicopter as it broke apart in midair last month, killing six people.

Surveillance video showed the helicopter traveling South before it suddenly broke apart into three major sections; its fuselage, which held the pilot and passengers, the main rotor system and the tail boom including the tail rotor, the report said.
