Blake Lively suffered a small setback in court after a judge denied her effort to obtain communications sent by Justin Baldoni’s legal team to content creators or the press about her, Us Weekly can confirm.

Lively filed a sexual harassment and defamation lawsuit against Baldoni in December 2024 through the California Civil Rights Department. A $400 million countersuit from Baldoni was dismissed in June 2025. The AP and Entertainment Weekly confirm the case is scheduled to go to trial on March 9, 2026.
