A federal grand jury handed down an indictment against New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell after an investigation into corruption.

The Roblox Corporation reportedly issued a legal complaint last week to a 22-year-old content creator known as “Schlep,” a self-styled “predator hunter” who claims his investigations led to six arrests of individuals attempting to groom minors on the platform.

Roblox Corp. shares fell more than 6% Friday after the company, which operates an online video-game service popular with children, was accused in two lawsuits of failing to sufficiently protect youngsters on its platform.

Roblox isn't facing a ban in the United States right now, but recent controversy has sparked debate on the platform's future in its home country.

Louisiana is the first state to sue Roblox, claiming it exposes kids to harmful content and predators, prompting concerns over safety measures in the popular gaming platform for children.
