Sensex Nifty Today | Stock Market Highlights: Indian equity indices opened Tuesday’s trading session on a flat note taking note of Asian markets. The NSE Nifty 50 opened 15 points, or 0.07%, higher at 22,569, while the BSE Sensex rose 93 points, or 0.12%, to open at 74,547.

The BSE Sensex fell 418.12 points or 0.56 per cent to 74,892.94. Nifty stood at 22,656.25, down 139.65 points  or 0.68 per cent.

The Nifty closed lower for the sixth consecutive day, slipping six points to settle at 22,548. The Sensex, however, managed to snap its five-day losing streak, rising 148 points to close at 74,602 in a rangebound session.

The Indian stock market closed on a mixed note on Tuesday, with the Sensex registering a slight gain while the Nifty50 ended in the red.The BSE Sensex rose 147.71 points, closing at 74,602.12, whereas the NSE Nifty50 slipped 5.

On February 25, the Sensex rose by 0.20% to 74,602.12, breaking a five-day losing streak, while the Nifty 50 fell 0.03% to 22,547.55. Broader indices underperformed, and several stocks hit 52-week highs and lows amid mixed sectoral performances.
