Depending on weather and clouds, rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral can be seen from Daytona Beach to Melbourne to Vero Beach

SpaceX was set to send up the 13th launch from the Space Coast this year on Friday afternoon, but has retargeted efforts to Saturday. A Falcon 9 rocket on the Starlink 12-9 mission carrying 21 Starlink satellites is now aiming for liftoff at 1:23 p.

With the payload being in the Group 12 Starlink satellites, the rocket will travel on a southeast trajectory. Those south of Cape Canaveral should get an afternoon show, as the Falcon 9 rocket rumbles by. The Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron has predicted a 95% chance of favorable conditions for this launch window.
