The city of Dallas is ending alley trash pickup for thousands of homes in the city. The change has a lot of people frustrated because they say the alternative is too much of a burden.

The City of Blue Ash announces that Thursday's recycling collection by GFL is delayed until Saturday due to staffing issues. Residents are advised to keep bins out for the weekend pickup.

People in Macomb County have been noticing problems with trash pickup, and now a company is being put on notice.

A Billings family says their trash was skipped this week, even though the city’s proposed stricter trash pickup policy hasn’t taken effect.

In response to the audit, Mayor Gloria shared this statement with ABC 10News Wednesday. “This was an unprecedented, 1,000-year storm and flood event that required immediate urgency and action to prevent loss of life and assist residents in their recovery while also being empathetic to the tragedy they just experienced.

A union representative told FOX13 that they have over 100 pieces of equipment down on any given day. He said the issues have pushed some residents to the point of pulling guns and knives on sanitation workers.

A special curbside collection event for resident’s existing trash and recycling containers is occurring this July and August.
