Ghosting is caused by the signal reflecting back and forth in the cable due to impedance mismatching. Caused by poor signal termination at video card or monitor, or much more likely a cheap vga cable.

These ghost-like touches would only impact the Workout app rather than sending the screen into a frenzy. The easy fix is to enable the Water Lock button, which you’d use during swimming sessions.
