Injuries can always derail a championship season for teams come playoff time. It's why the Philadelphia Eagles made it a point to rest all of their starters during their meaningless Week 18 win. Even so, they aren't at 100% heading into Wild Card weekend.

Heading into Sunday's playoff matchup against the Packers, Eagles WR AJ Brown's knee injury held him out of Thursday's practice.

In addition to Brown, the Eagles' injury report had another notable player on it as right tackle Lane Johnson was listed as limited due to rest. The other limited players included backup QB Kenny Pickett (ribs), RB Will Shipley (ankle) and reserve OL Jack Driscoll (ankle).

Despite Brown's absence, he's trending toward playing in Sunday’s playoff opener against the Green Bay Packers. So is Hurts, who still needs to clear concussion protocol.

Since first landing on the injury report, Brown had 8 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Commanders and 3 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys. He and many starters rested in the regular season finale against the Giants.
