Ghostbusters star Bill Murray has opened up about what attracts him to playing troubled characters in his films.

On Jan. 29, Bill Murray will resume his recently-extended 2025 tour with his bluesy backing band The Blood Brothers led by Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia. Along the way, the deadpan 74-year-old comic actor will make a pair of New York stops.

Murray, who revealed he doesn’t have an agent anymore, is at the festival promoting his upcoming indy flicks “The Friend” and “Riff Raff.” When asked about playing characters who “lead lives of enormous charm” and being “aware of how poisonous their charm can be,” Murray didn’t hold back.
