Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups constantly tells backup forward Jabari Walker to be ready because one never knows when he could be needed on a given night.

Portland Trail Blazers big Jabari Walker had a night against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Off the bench, the third year Blazer hit 6 of 6 from three, registering 22 points, 6 rebounds and a steal.

Walker is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Pistons due to right hand soreness.

Walker, a 2022 second-round pick, became the fourth Blazers player in history to make six threes without a miss. The others are Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Terry Porter.

Walker notched 22 points (8-9 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 128-118 loss to the Celtics. Walker scored a season-high 22 points, playing a significant role after a combined 18 minutes over the previous two games.

The Portland Trail Blazers host the Detroit Pistons in non-conference action. Sunday's meeting is the first of the season between the two teams.
