A preliminary report points to a significant mechanical problem before a deadly police helicopter crash that happened during a shootout in Flagstaff, Arizona.

CONECUH COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A helicopter crash is under investigation in Evergreen. According to Evergreen Fire Rescue, responders went to the crash at a home on South Main Street around 3:12 p.m.

The crash happened in the town of Dorcheh, some 205 miles south of Iran's capital, Tehran, in the country's Isfahan province, Iranian state television reported.
