Max Fried takes home Gold Glove in first Yankees season

In his first season in pinstripes, Max Fried was golden. The left-hander won his fourth career Gold Glove on Sunday night, taking home the award for American League pitchers — the first Yankees pitcher to do so since Mike Mussina in 2008.

SF Giants have MLB’s first Gold Glove battery since 2013

The last pitcher-catcher teammates to win the Gold Glove were Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina of the Cardinals, who did it in both 2013 and 2009. Before that, Kenny Rogers and Ivan Rodriguez both won for the 2006 Detroit Tigers, six years after they pulled off the same feat as teammates on the Texas Rangers. Here’s the list:
