NASA and SpaceX have postponed the Crew-11 launch to the ISS due to adverse weather in Florida, rescheduling for August 1, 2025. This mission, carrying astronauts from the US, Japan, and Russia, will be the first NASA SpaceX launch broadcast on Netflix.

On May 30th, 2020, SpaceX and NASA made history with the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft, marking the first crewed mission from U.S. soil since the Space Shuttle era ended in 2011.

A Falcon 9 rocket topped with the crew’s Dragon capsule lifted off at 11:44 a.m. local time from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Kimiya Yui and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.
