An alternative new district that united Pine Hills and separated it from Winter Park is lauded by one resident.

Nine-year-old Melody Buzzard hasn't been seen since August. Her mother, Ashlee Buzzard, is refusing to cooperate with authorities, and her family says she has a history of serious mental illness.
