Air India flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 carrying 242 people, crashed after taking off from Ahmedabad on its way to London.

A new video of last week's Air India plane crash, which killed 270 people, shows the lone survivor, Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, walking away from the crash site as the crashed flight turned into a fireball with plumes of black smoke engulfing the area.

Air India flight 171 crashed on a building minutes after takeoff near the airport in India’s western city of Ahmedabad.

All but one of the 242 people on board the London-bound flight died when it crashed into a residential area in Ahmedabad shortly after take-off.
