Emergency responders kept hope alive as they combed through fallen trees and other debris that littered the hard-hit central Texas communities on the fifth day after devastating floods killed more than 100.

Businesses and organizations from all over are pledging funds and resources to help with relief and recovery efforts following the devastating and deadly floods in Central Texas over the holiday weekend.

The loss of life is unimaginable. While we are still grappling with what happened, it’s important to understand the historic nature of this flood. It likely already ranks as the third-deadliest flood in Texas history.
