One of the world’s most active volcanoes, located in Kilauea, Hawaii, erupted for the seventh time since December on Monday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano is erupting again, the seventh time since December 2024, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The Kilauea volcano in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has erupted for the seventh time since December last year, spewing lava from the Halemaʻumaʻu pit crater. Spectacular timelapse footage from January 27 captured the lava flows spreading like a river delta on the crater floor.
