An Aurora man has died after a motorcycle crash in Naperville on Sunday, according to the Naperville Police Department.

A motorcycle driver was killed in a crash in Newark on Saturday evening, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said. Leandro Cardoso Da Costa, 40, of Elizabeth, died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car at the intersection of Thomas Street and Dawson Street at about 5:15 p.m., the prosecutor’s office said.

The motorcyclist, identified as a 28-year-old man from Aurora, Illinois, died at the scene despite life-saving measures, police said.
