According to reports, a multi-year Alabama basketball starter is entering the transfer portal after two seasons in Tuscaloosa.

After the NCAA Tournament run ended, Alabama saw big man Mouhamed Dioubate enter the portal and transfer to Kentucky. Now, Alabama has been dealt another blow in the transfer portal. Sophomore forward Jarin Stevenson has decided to enter the portal with a "Do Not Contact" tag, per Travis branham of 247Sports.

In the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Dioubate had a double-double in Alabama's first-round win over Robert Morris, grabbing 10 rebounds to go with 18 points. He had five rebounds against both Saint Mary's in the second round and BYU in the Sweet 16 before the Crimson Tide's 85-65 loss to Duke in the Elite Eight.

The 6′7″ sophomore played in each game for the Crimson Tide this past season, averaging 7.2 points, and 5.9 rebounds 16 minutes per game. Dioubate shot 61.7% from the field on the year.
