A lottery player tried their luck playing Powerball — and netted a big prize, the Georgia Lottery said. The lucky winner won $50,000 after matching four numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, Feb. 1, narrowly missing the estimated $88 million jackpot, according to the lottery.

Players have won more than $4.4 million in prizes in the $1,000,000 Cash Craze game since it was released on Dec. 30. There is over $29.6 million in prizes to be claimed, including two $1 million top prizes and another four prizes of $50,000.
