The 2025 MLB trade deadline is almost here, and plenty of teams are getting in on the action. The biggest news thus far came late Wednesday night, with the trade of Diamondbacks slugger Eugenio Suarez to the Mariners.

With a little more than two hours to go until the MLB trade deadline, the Mets, who had already added three quality relievers, made a move to deepen their lineup. They acquired 30-year-old center fielder Cedric Mullins from the Orioles in exchange for three right-handed pitching prospects Anthony Nunez, Raimon Gomez and Chandler Marsh.
