On Monday afternoon, Williams was among the 46 total players named to the 2025 preseason watch list for one of the top individual honors in college football, the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Williams has also received honors this offseason such as the Maxwell Award preseason watch list.

Alabama football has plenty of physical ability on its 2025 roster. However, three of the Crimson Tide players stood out to The Athletic, which released its 2025 “Freaks List” on Monday.

For the first time ever, three offensive lineman from the same team have made Bruce Feldman's "College Football Freaks List."
